Our next mission trip is scheduled for August 1-7 2016, and if you are planning to go, please try to let us know by June 15. For those of you who have already expressed interest via our volunteer page, we wanted to forward you a message from our CEO, Dr. Seth Lesperance, with information about what you should expect:
"Thank you to all who made our April mission's trip to Haiti a huge success. Because of you, we were able to provide medical care to about six hundred people during those three busy days. So..... THANK YOU! For those of you who are joining us on this next trip, please get your ticket as soon as you can and try to schedule your reservation under a morning flight (American Airline or Jet Blue usually provide good accommodations). We would like to leave Port Au Prince at 12 noon and have the first clinic in Gressier that same day. After the clinic, we will be heading south to our base in Vieux Bourg d’Aquin. We are hoping to arrive around 8:00 pm at Le Papillon, Bar Restaurant.
On August 2, we will have a clinic in Vieux Bourg d’Aquin beginning around 9:30 AM and on the 3rd will have another clinic starting at 9:00 AM. On August 4, We will take a break from doing clinics. Instead we are planning to help with a reforestation project in Vieux Borg and then we will go to Saut Mathurin to enjoy the water fall followed by Gele Beach for dinner.
Friday August 5, we will have another clinic in Jonc Dodin beginning around 9:00 AM. Then, on Saturday, we plan to visit the Hospital of Light and the outpatient clinic in Les Cayes during the day and Port Salut during the night. If you like Kompas music, there will be a cultural activity held there and the Septentrional will make you dance. Plan to have your return flight depart of the 7th, preferably mid-morning or afternoon. We will leave the Vieux Bourg early on Sunday morning so that we can get everyone to the airport and back home on time.
If you have any further questions feel free to contact us via email (email@example.com) or the Groupme chat at any time. Thanks again to all of you who support us and make all of our endeavors possible. God bless."
